Bobbi Sedor joined the Red Star Foundation’s Board of Directors in September 2025. She brings two decades of expertise in enterprise risk management, organizational strategy, and governance to the Foundation’s mission of supporting our military, veterans, first responders, and their families.
Bobbi currently serves as the leader of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) at GBU Financial Life, where she is responsible for advancing the company’s risk management posture, overseeing its corporate insurance program, and managing outsourced Internal Audit services. A Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), she has a proven track record of building strong risk cultures and embedding risk awareness across organizations.
Her career includes seven years at Highmark Health, the nation’s second largest blended health organization, where she led the Enterprise Risk Strategy team. Prior to that, she spent 15 years at a top 25 bank, where she launched the bank’s first Enterprise Risk Management program and contributed to the development of other risk management initiatives.
Bobbi holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance.
She resides in Clarence, New York, with her husband and two children. Outside of her professional commitments, Bobbi enjoys fitness, spending time outdoors, and caring for animals.
