
Kristen Christy is a nationally recognized resilience expert, suicide prevention advocate, and speaker whose life’s work has been shaped by profound personal loss and an unwavering commitment to helping others find hope. After the suicide death of her first husband, Lt. Col. Don Christy, Kristen turned her family’s tragedy into a mission to educate, encourage, and strengthen current military, veterans, first responders, and their families.
Kristen was named the 2018 Armed Forces Insurance Air Force Spouse of the Year and has been recognized as a leading voice in the military community. She is a Master Resilience Trainer, co-creator of the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, co-founder of the National Veterans Vocational Village Foundation, creator of National Resilience Day, and a trusted advocate in the suicide prevention space.
Through her speaking, training, and advocacy, Kristen shares a powerful message about resilience, connection, and the ripple effect of suicide on families and communities. Her work reflects a deep commitment to turning pain into purpose, reducing stigma, and reminding those who are struggling that they are never alone.
