David VargasDavid Vargas, born in the Bronx, NY in 1972. His military journey began in May 1993 when he enlisted in the United States Air Force as a Wideband Radar (1C8) and Satellite Communications (2E1) systems technician. In 1997, David cross-trained into Emergency Management, Disaster Preparedness, and NBC (Nuclear, Biological, Chemical) defense with the Rhode Island Air National Guard (RIANG). After a distinguished military career, he retired in 2015 and relocated to Melbourne, FL and became an active member of the Brevard County community.

In 2020, David moved to Palm Harbor, FL, in Pinellas County, where he owns and operates Veteran Laserworx LLC, a custom laser engraving and design business. He is deeply involved in the local community as a member of the American Legion, Palm Harbor Chamber of Commerce, and the Pinellas County Veterans Association. He serves as an Ambassador, Membership Coordinator, and Board Member of the Palm Harbor Chamber of Commerce, as well as the appointed President of the Pinellas County Veterans Association, based in Palm Harbor.

A strong advocate for philanthropy and veteran support, David regularly donates service awards and plaques to military and veteran-based organizations and events. His commitment to veterans extends to his advocacy and organizing efforts, ensuring those who served are never forgotten. Through his work and dedication, David continues to build a lasting legacy of service and support for his community.
