Kevin CrowsynKevin Crowsyn is a highly accomplished digital marketing professional with extensive experience spanning the military, nonprofit, and private sectors. Currently serving as a Master Sergeant (E-8) in the U.S. Army, Kevin will retire in March 2027 following over 25 years of distinguished service. He is also an adjunct professor in West Virginia University’s Integrated Marketing Communications graduate program and serves on the boards of the University of Florida Association of Military Alumni and the Red Star Foundation.

Since 2009, Kevin has been at the forefront of modernization efforts within the U.S. Army Recruiting Command (USAREC), earning recognition as “one of the organization’s single most influential figures of the past decade,” according to USAREC Commander Major General Johnny Davis. He co-authored two Army publications, establishing foundational strategies for virtual operations and social media management, and spearheaded USAREC’s first large-scale virtual recruiting initiative in 2014.

During the COVID-19 pandemic (2020–2022), Kevin demonstrated exceptional leadership as First Sergeant of the Orlando Medical Recruiting Company. During his tenure, he implemented an innovative digital strategy that contributed to the company becoming the first in US Army history to be ranked #1 nationwide for three consecutive years. For his efforts, Kevin received a personal commendation from the U.S. Army Surgeon General, Lieutenant General Raymond Scott Dingle.

Throughout his career, Kevin has earned more than 40 military awards and decorations, including three Meritorious Service Medals. He was also honored with the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal for his impactful contributions as Chief Marketing Officer with the U.S. Veterans Foundation.

As a sought-after speaker, Kevin has delivered presentations at prominent events, including the Social Media Strategies Summit, Military Influencer Conference, Veterans Social Summit, and the University of Florida Alumni Leadership Conference.

Kevin holds an M.A. in Mass Communication, specializing in social media, from the University of Florida, where he founded and serves as president of the Association of Military Alumni. In 2024, he was honored with the UF Inclusive Leadership Award in the Industry Achievement category. Additionally, he earned a B.A. in Management with a minor in Political Science from American Military University.
Based in Tampa Bay, Florida, Kevin lives with his wife, Kyla, and their son. Together, they own and operate Crowsyn Creative LLC, a brand management and marketing agency.
