RED STAR FOUNDATION TO HOST PRESS CONFERENCE ON FIGHT AGAINST MILITARY, VETERAN, AND FIRST RESPONDER SUICIDES
Clearwater, FL — The Red Star Foundation is proud to announce a press conference addressing the critical issue of military, veteran, and first responder suicides. The event will be held on January 31, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Clearwater Beach, FL. This gathering will highlight the Foundation’s comprehensive initiatives and call to action in support of those who serve and their families.
The press conference will detail Red Star Foundation’s innovative programs, including its flagship peer-to-peer support network, and the Red Star Service Banner and Pin program. Attendees will hear from Bruce Rector, the Mayor of Clearwater, Gene Overstreet, the 12th Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps, Jerry Shaffer, co-founder, and families directly impacted by suicide in the military and first responder communities.
