Rich McAdooRich McAdoo is a dedicated professional with a diverse and accomplished career spanning over three decades. He graduated from high school in June 1989 and enlisted in the U.S. Navy shortly after, where he trained to become a Sonar Technician on Submarines. After extensive training in submarine operations, electronics, and sound characteristics, Rich served on three submarines: the USS Pittsburgh SSN 640, USS Benjamin Franklin SSN 720, and USS Dallas SSN 700, completing his service in August 1995.

Following his military career, Rich became a committed member of his local fire department, serving as a firefighter and medic for nearly 30 years. In addition to his work with the fire department, he worked for a commercial ambulance company for several years before joining General Motors (GM). Over his 23-year career at GM, Rich rose through the ranks, with his final role as a Group Leader overseeing the launch of the new Cadillac Lyriq electric vehicle.

In June 2022, Rich transitioned to a new role with the Department of Homeland Security/Customs and Border Protection, further expanding his expertise in public service and safety.

Rich resides in Lockport, NY, with his wife and youngest child. He is a proud grandfather to three grandchildren, with a fourth on the way, due in March 2025. His career journey reflects a commitment to service, leadership, and continuous personal and professional growth.
