Red Star Foundation and Operator Relief Fund each receive $7,500 as SECAF brings the government contracting community together to support those who serve and their families.
CLIFTON, VA — October 30, 2026 — The Red Star Foundation was honored to be one of two charitable beneficiaries of the Small and Emerging Contractors Advisory Forum (SECAF) Third Annual Golf Tournament, held October 21, 2026, at Westfields Golf Club in Clifton, Virginia.
The tournament raised $15,000 for two organizations supporting America's military and veteran communities, with Red Star Foundation and Operator Relief Fund each receiving a $7,500 donation.

The event brought together government contracting professionals, business leaders, sponsors, and supporters for a day of golf, networking, and charitable giving, demonstrating how the private sector can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who have served our nation.
A Meaningful Connection Through Matthew Agresti
Red Star Foundation extends special appreciation to Matthew Agresti, Senior Vice President and Relationship Manager at EagleBank, who initially approached the Foundation about attending the tournament and becoming involved in the event.
Agresti, a United States Air Force veteran, serves on SECAF's Board of Directors and chairs its Golf Committee. His commitment to military-related causes and community engagement helped create an opportunity for Red Star Foundation to connect with members of the government contracting community.
His outreach exemplifies how individual relationships and corporate leadership can help bring greater awareness, resources, and support to organizations working to address critical challenges facing our nation's military and veteran communities.
Two Organizations, One Shared Commitment to Service
Both charitable beneficiaries serve important and complementary missions.
Red Star Foundation is dedicated to preventing suicide among current military, veterans, and first responders while providing Hope, Recognition, and Connection to the families left behind, known as Red Star Families.
Through initiatives including Red Star Voices, the Red Star Service Banner, and its growing Peer-to-Peer Network, the Foundation works to reduce stigma, encourage help-seeking, strengthen community connections, and ensure families impacted by suicide are never forgotten.
Operator Relief Fund focuses on providing wellness treatment and support to Special Operations Forces and Intelligence Community professionals experiencing post-traumatic stress and other complex trauma symptoms. The organization also recognizes the importance of supporting spouses and families affected by the challenges of service.
Together, these organizations address critical needs facing those who serve, those who have served, and the families who stand beside them.
Turning Community Support Into Lasting Impact
The $7,500 contribution to Red Star Foundation will help advance its mission of suicide prevention, awareness, and support for Red Star Families.
Beyond the financial contribution, the tournament provided an opportunity to introduce Red Star Foundation's mission to additional business leaders and organizations that can play an important role in expanding suicide prevention efforts nationwide.
Red Star Foundation expresses its sincere gratitude to SECAF, its Golf Committee, participating golfers, corporate sponsors, and volunteers for making the event possible.
Special thanks go to Matthew Agresti and EagleBank for their outreach and engagement in connecting Red Star Foundation with this meaningful opportunity.
When businesses, communities, and nonprofits come together, they can do more than raise funds. They can help save lives and ensure that families impacted by suicide receive the recognition and support they deserve.
